2. Accepting these terms
Playing Corsair Tides, including from CrazyGames, means you agree to these terms and the Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not play. We show this as a notice with links. We do not put a blocking consent popup in front of the harbor.
If you play through CrazyGames, you also follow CrazyGames’ terms for the portal. Those terms govern the portal account. These terms govern the game and the captain account we keep.
3. The game
Corsair Tides is an online pirate extraction game. You can sail with other people or with AI crews, collect cargo, fight, and spend gold inside the game on ships, fittings, champions, and crew.
We may change ships, prices, match length, rewards, and features, and we may interrupt the service for maintenance or capacity. Virtual gold and items are a license to use features inside the game. They are not money, they have no cash value, and they cannot be sold or transferred between captains.
The server decides gold, experience, and rewards. A modified client cannot grant itself loot, kills, or currency.
4. Accounts
On CrazyGames, your captain is created from the signed CrazyGames user token and is resumed when that same CrazyGames user returns. We do not merge that captain with a guest captain from another device.
On our own client, without CrazyGames, a random device identifier resumes a guest captain on that device. Keep that device storage private. Anyone with it can continue that guest captain.
You are responsible for activity on your captain. Do not impersonate another player, break the game economy, attack the service, or use the game to harass people. We may suspend a captain that does this. Your captain name in a CrazyGames session is the CrazyGames username.
5. Other players
Lobbies and matches show captain names and ship actions to the people in that session. Treat other players fairly. There is no separate chat service in the game.
6. Real-money purchases
Real-money checkout is not available when you play through CrazyGames. Any Captain’s Vault or similar offer inside a CrazyGames session is not a Koha-Tech charge.
If we offer a paid chest on our own client, the price is shown before you pay, payment is handled by Stripe, and the chest is granted only after we confirm the payment. Digital goods start immediately and are tied to that captain. Statutory withdrawal rights for digital content may be lost once the chest is delivered, where the law allows that and you were told before paying. Gold and items bought with in-game currency are not refundable as cash.
7. Our content
The game, art, name, and software belong to Koha-Tech sp. z o.o. or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to play. You may not copy the game, extract its assets for another product, or host a competing server.
8. Availability and liability
The game is provided as available. Online matches depend on our servers and, on CrazyGames, on that portal. We do not promise uninterrupted play or that a particular reward will drop.
To the extent Polish and EU consumer law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, lost virtual progress, or portal outages we do not control. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you also have the mandatory rights of your country of residence. Those rights win over anything here that would reduce them.
9. Law
These terms use the laws of Poland. Courts in Warsaw have jurisdiction, except where a consumer protection rule lets you sue or be sued in your home courts.
10. Changes
We may update these terms. The “Last updated” date will change, and the current text stays at https://corsairtides.com/terms. Continuing to play after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not, stop playing and ask us to delete the captain account.
